Regency Hearing offer a bespoke private hearing service that High Street hearing chains cannot match.

Regency Hearing is primarily a domiciliary service – we see patients in the comfort of their own homes. As well as the convenience to our patients, we also find that the home is a great place to fit and test new hearing aids. After all, this is the place that you spend the most time.

Your hearing assessment with Regency Hearing will be more thorough than you find elsewhere; our first meeting will take up to two hours, during which we conduct a full history and a thorough examination of your ears.

We then perform the latest speech-recognition testing to attain a real-life picture of the state of your hearing. Once we have determined if a hearing loss is present, we can discuss the alternatives available to you, and offer guidance on the best solutions.

Regency Hearing is an Independent Private Hearing Practice – this means that we are able to offer every single hearing device available on the market today, ensuring maximum choice and the best possible outcome for you.

High Street hearing shops are owned or influenced by hearing aid manufacturers – they have a vested interest in fitting a particular brand of hearing aid, and their advice will vary depending on their ownership. Regency Hearing offers professional advice based purely on what is best for each individual patient.

We are proud to offer our premium service to discerning patients across London and the Home Counties.

about Regency Hearing

Andrew Haine BA (Hons) FdSC RHAD BSHAA

Andrew is an experienced audiologist and member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists. His experience in the world of hearing and audiology goes from working for a major hearing aid manufacturer to working at one of the UK’s top NHS audiology departments, and now into his own private audiology practice. His extensive experience mean that he is uniquely placed to understand the individual hearing issues that you may be encountering, and to fine-tune your new hearing devices to their optimum settings.

Regency Hearing was founded by Andrew to offer a premium alternative to High Street hearing shops whose packed diaries don’t allow sufficient time to test and assess a patient’s hearing and fully understand the issues they are encountering.

Regency Hearing offer a bespoke audiology service where time is never an issue, and no stone is left unturned in the quest for better hearing.

Our audiologists are committed to the extensive hearing assessments and unlimited follow-up appointments necessary to achieve the very best outcome for you.

Andrew is passionate about making a difference in his patient’s lives by helping them to hear well again. He is always abreast of the latest technological advancements in hearing, and offers a wealth of knowledge on the subject via his regular blogs and videos here, and on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Andrew is on a crusade to bring better hearing to EVERYONE who needs it. Gone are the days when hearing aids were an embarrassment – the hearing aids fitted by Regency Hearing are tiny devices with incredible processing power and levels of connectivity thought impossible just 5 years ago.

In his spare time Andrew is an avid classic car and motor racing enthusiast. He attends race meetings, car shows and Grand Prix all over the world. Andrew also does some racing himself, competing in a national karting championship. He is married to Claudia and they have two boys, Marco and Luca.

Andrew says:

“While working for a leading hearing aid manufacturer I became acutely aware of the lack of progress in UK hearing care. The products were developing at an incredible pace, but the clinics and shops weren’t reacting to this technology quickly enough or offering it to their patients with sufficient instruction or demonstration (if at all).

I found High Street hearing shops to offer a rushed service that didn’t allow the time needed to perform a thorough hearing assessment or really get to know the patients and understand their needs. This often resulted in disappointment and frustration for patients who had spent a lot of money.

That’s why I founded Regency Hearing: To offer a premium hearing service to patients who demand the best, and to bring my expertise in the very latest hearing technology to anyone who could benefit from it.

Please feel free to contact me via this website or on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram where I post regular blogs, videos and information to help you make an informed decision on your hearing. I look forward to meeting from you.”
